Extreme Thing Roller Derby Tournament '09

Syndicate Roller Girls took second place at the first Extreme Thing roller derby tournament. Six teams competed and Syndicate tied for the finals with the Arizona Roller Derby League. Just before the championship round to see who would take the championship skate trophy, the referees quit. The excuse was that they were tired and hungry. That is why people who can't play roller derby become referees...they can't take the heat!

Syndicate Roller Girls are holding the championship trophy hostage until later this season when they will meet with Arizona again to battle it out and take care of their unfinished business.
